第一魔女 水夫の女房が膝にトチの実を抱え込んで、
むしゃむしゃむしゃむしゃ食べていたの。「少しおくれ」と言ったら、 「魔女は、とっとと失せろ」って、残飯ばかり食ってるくせに、えらそうに、ババァに怒鳴られたわ。 亭主はタイガー号の船長やってて、アレッポへ航海中だから、 あたしは篩（ふるい）の船で追っかけてやるんだ。 尻尾（しっぽ）のないねずみに化けて、 悪さをしてやる、やるとも、やってやるとも。 |

第一魔女 あたしもいろんな風を使えるのよ。
風が吹く港は全部知っているし、 水夫の海図に載っている場所なら みんな知ってるわ。 あたしは亭主を干草のように干からびさせてやる。 亭主のまぶたに、夜も昼も 眠りが来ないようにしてやる。 亭主は呪いにかけられたまま生きるのよ、 疲れはてて何週間も、九の九倍の週も やせ細って、疲労困憊（ひろうこんばい）するわ。 バーク船は沈められないけど、 それでも嵐のなかの木の葉のようにさせてやる。 いいもの見せてあげる。 |

You seem to understand me, By each at once her chappy finger laying Upon her skinny lips: you should be women, 45 And yet your beards forbid me to interpret That you are so. |
バンクォウ フォレスまではまだ遠いな。あれは何だ、
